Malcolm Hollis is pleased to announce 44 promotions across the business as of 01 May 2018. These promotions are recognition of the hard work and commitment staff have shown to Malcolm Hollis and it is this dedication that has enabled the firm to grow from strength to strength and enjoy outstanding success within the industry. The promotions are also testament to the Malcolm Hollis ethos of creating opportunities for staff. Congratulations to all those promoted, who are listed below and a summary is as follows:
- 3 promotions to Partner level
- 23 promotions in London
- 21 promotions in our regional offices: Amsterdam, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Madrid and Winchester
- 12 promotions in our operations team
Amsterdam
Michael van der Ploeg has been promoted to Senior Consultant.
Belfast
Daniel Ward has been promoted to Senior Associate. Daniel joined the firm in 2007 and specialises in lead consultant and project management roles as well as providing dilapidations advice.
Birmingham
Ian Shaw who joined Malcolm Hollis in 2016 as a Senior Associate has been promoted to Partner. He is responsible for project delivery of major capital projects, portfolios and programmes. Michael Cunningham and Richard Wyn Morris both started at Malcolm Hollis in 2013 and are now Senior Associates. Michael has over 10 years’ experience in undertaking building services engineering instructions including projects, dilapidations, technical due diligence and planned maintenance. Richard specialises in commercial project services (industrial, offices and retail with project values ranging from £50k to £3.5m).
Also in Birmingham, Andrew Newman has been promoted to Associate and Lidia Rachon to Senior Surveyor in the Measured Surveys team. Sam Jennings is now Senior Engineer and Richard Sharpe has been promoted to Senior Chartered Building Surveyor.
Bristol
Richard Hunt has been promoted to Senior Associate. Richard joined Malcolm Hollis in 2015 and has over 9 years of experience in technical due diligence, party walls, projects services and dilapidations.
Richard Masters has also been promoted to Sustainability Consultant.
Cambridge
Richard Dawes has been promoted to Senior Associate. Richard joined Malcolm Hollis over 10 years ago right at the start of his career and has worked his way up the ladder.
Dublin
Rory Kennedy and Stephen McGibney have both been promoted to Associate.
Edinburgh
Declan Madden is now Senior Chartered Building Surveyor.
Glasgow
Craig Munro is now Partner. Craig joined in 2009 and has over 15 years industry experience. He is responsible for managing the building surveying team in Glasgow.
Leeds
Rob Devoy has been promoted to Associate.
London
Tom Pugh has been promoted to Partner. Tom works in the Measured Surveys team where he oversees all Area Referencing work across the business. He has over 10 years of experience working across all types of surveys including Topographical Surveys, Measured Building Surveys, Laser Scanning and Area Referencing Surveys. Alistair Barrett also from our Measured Surveys team is now Senior Surveyor.
In our Project Management, Development Monitoring and M&E teams, Chris Leach, Jo Bell, Matt Bourne, Phil Hughes and Jon Carruthers are now Associates. Edyta Szczepaniak is now Senior Chartered Engineer; Oliver Werby, Richard Skinnard and Will Horsthuis are now Senior Chartered Building Surveyors
James Adam from our Party Walls & Neighbourly Matters team is now Senior Associate. James joined in 2013 and has over 10 years’ experience in the construction & property industry.
Madrid
Juan Blanco has been promoted to Senior Geomatics and Topographical Engineer.
Winchester
Shaun Miller has been promoted to Associate.
Operations
In Business Development, Sam Richardson is now Senior Bid Coordinator, Molly Beatty is Events Executive and Laura Da Silva is Brand & Communications Executive. In HR, Hannah Dodd is now Senior HR Advisor and Nicole Deans is HR Assistant while Mike Miller is promoted to Senior Recruiter. In the Business Support team, Natalie Chin has become Senior Business Support Manager; Andrea Hollist and Hannah Warren are now Senior Secretaries and Gabbie Lear is Team Secretary. Emma Ward is also promoted to Administrator in Dublin and Grace Lynch is Senior Administrator in Glasgow.
