I am responsible for our Leeds office. I also manage the delivery of our service charge work nationally.

What I do

My building surveying career started in London, but for the last 20 years or so I have been based in Yorkshire and I set up our Leeds office in 2000.

Over the years, I have been involved with pretty much all service areas you would expect for a building surveyor. My early years in London were spent largely dealing with up-market residential refurbishments and party wall work. A period followed concentrating on pre-acquisition surveys and development monitoring of various commercial projects. Recently, however, I have mainly focused on landlord and tenant work, most of which is dilapidations and service charge related. I am also one of only ten RICS accredited independent experts in the UK for dilapidations disputes.

Who I am

Away from work I am a keen snowboarder, but probably like most dads, I am regularly overtaken on the slopes by my kids. I also enjoy cycling, as well as tennis in the summer and squash during the winter, albeit on increasingly weary legs!
