I am a Partner specialising in Technical Due Diligence and I head up the Ashford office
What I do
I joined Malcolm Hollis in 2008 and have been specialising in Technical Due Diligence for the last 5 years. Our surveys team has grown considerably over the last few years and we now have an established reputation for our service and high quality commercial due diligence advice. Over the years I have surveyed a range of commercial property, from 800,000sqft city towers to out of town industrial units, for large institutions and property companies.
Whilst I work in all areas of commercial building surveying, my particular specialism is in acquisition surveys/technical due diligence on super prime residential property in Central London and the south east. My experience is broad, from acquisitions of apartment buildings and student accommodation to grade 1 listed town houses and 16th century timber framed country retreats.
I am also a member of the Pyramus and Thisbe Club and still have some involvement in neighbourly matters. I have also acted as expert witness commenting on repairs required to a high spec penthouse apartment.
In addition to the above, I am an Assessor for the RICS APC and am involved in helping to prepare our graduates here for their APC interviews.
Who I am
I very much enjoy time with my young family. I am an ex-rower, and long distance triathlete, and like to get out for the odd swim, bike or run when I can (although the pace/intensity has dropped off somewhat in recent years!).
