Our people

Tony Grant

Partner | Dublin

I am the partner in charge of our Dublin Office.

What I do

I qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1991 and have over 25 years practical experience working on behalf of both landlords and tenants. I have worked with an array of commercial, investor, institutional and developer clients in London and throughout the UK, in private practice as well as the prestigious Bedford and Grosvenor Estates before joining Malcolm Hollis in 2014.

I am involved in all areas of commercial building surveying including technical due diligence and development monitoring and I advise significant corporate clients on appropriate occupational and exit strategies.  This involves dilapidations as well as planned preventative maintenance and portfolio asset management advice to occupiers and owners of all types of commercial property.

I actively formulate and develop our business strategy and market our services and skills to new and existing clients in the rapidly changing Irish marketplace.

Who I am

Outside work, I have a busy family life with my wonderful wife and two teenage daughters and two dogs that make up the full crew. I love to travel and tour far and wide in our motorhome through Ireland and Europe, often attending music and culture festivals. I am a keen tennis player at Clontarf LTC and enjoy watching most sports, particularly rugby.
