Partner | Amsterdam
I am responsible for the Amsterdam Office.
What I do
I joined Malcolm Hollis in 2016 to open the office in Amsterdam. The office covers the Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) region and services existing UK, Ireland and mainland Europe based clients who are operating in the region as well as local clients. Our services can be adopted in all phases of a commercial property asset’s life cycle such as: business case development, design, construction, maintenance, operations and hand back or end-of-life.
In Amsterdam we currently provide consultancy services in project management, technical due diligence, environmental due diligence, PPP-advisory, RCAs, claims management, mediation, mechanical and electrical advice, measured surveys including CAD/Revit/BIM and workplace design.
I have experience in advising on all areas of transactions and specialise in project management. I have dealt with projects ranging from fit-out to new build assets in all sectors including commercial, health, logistics, data centres, air, hotels and leisure, prisons, production facilities, roads and rail infrastructure. I can provide a holistic approach whereby cost management and project controls are included as part of the service delivery.
My experience also encompasses transaction advisory services, contract and claims management/support, procurement and technical support services, spanning property assets in all sectors.
As a Dutch national, my career has been in the Benelux region where I have experience working on Public Private Partnership (PPP) schemes. Due to the complexity of these schemes, which can often be major, it has been an interesting and educational journey for the PPP market to become mature in this region.
Who I am
I am a Dutch national and live in Amsterdam with my girlfriend. I enjoy music, sailing, a good glass of wine or a cocktail, the cat, the dog and the view from our apartment.
